What Instagram data Aluma holds
Only if the Creator of a community has connected their Instagram professional account to AluChat: the ID, username and profile name of that account, the direct messages it received and the replies sent, and the access token that Instagram provides to us. The details are in the Privacy Policy (section 4.1).
How to ask us to delete it
- If you are the Creator: go to Aluma → AluChat → Channels → Instagram → “Disconnect” (labeled “Canales” and “Desconectar” in the app). This deletes the access token. To also delete the conversation history, email us (step 3).
- Remove the app from Instagram: in Instagram, go to Settings → Apps and websites → “Active” → Aluma AluChat → “Remove”. Instagram notifies us automatically and the connection is deactivated. From there you can also request deletion of your data and Instagram sends the request to us: we process it automatically and give you a code so you can check its status on this page.
- By email: write to hola@aluma.lat with the subject “Delete Instagram data”, including the username of the account. We will reply and complete the deletion within 30 days at most.
What gets deleted
The Instagram connection (including the access token) and the Instagram and Messenger conversations and messages of that account. We may keep whatever the law requires us to retain.
